Costa Rica’s Paradisus Playa Conchal is an all inclusive, all suite, five star, golf and beach resort set in the rain forest of the magnificent North-Pacific Riviera on Flamingo Beach. The All Inclusive, All Suite, Golf and Beach Resort, extends over 2,400 lush acres in an enchanted land where challenging golf meets thrilling eco-adventures, fishing and scuba diving.
Paradisus Playa Conchal All Inclusive Beach Resort was designed by noted Spanish architect Alvaro Sánz, it resembles a luxurious seaside village set amidst meandering walkways, bubbling fountains, shimmering lakes and lush tropical gardens. The golf course is a Robert Trent Jones design. The newly appointed Paradisus Playa Conchal has redesigned the concept of the worry-free family vacation by offering a top-of-the-line, all-inclusive Beach & Golf Resort in Central America.
Paradisus Playa Conchal boasts 310 luxurious guest rooms, including 26 Royal Suites and two Presidential Suites with garden or ocean view. The SPA is all you would expect in a five star resort. There is a casino and a disco for your after hours enjoyment. This is a perfect setting for a Costa Rica honeymoon or a destination wedding and you can prepare to be pampered.
Each of the richly decorated villa suites at Paradisus Playa Conchal, open onto a private terrace and feels more like a private home than a hotel. Standard appointments include central air conditioning, spacious living area, mirrored dressing room, cable TV, personal safe, mini bar, and direct dial telephone. The resort features one of the largest free form pools in Central America, a spectacular lagoon-shaped swimming area that meanders along lush foliage and swaying palms, with a Jacuzzi in the center, swim up bar and lined with lounge chairs.
The features around the resort include more than 5,000-yards of coastline accented by a rocky peninsula with steep undulating topography. Playa Conchal is a white sandy beach approximately 2,500 yards long and offers magnificent views of the coastline and is one of the Resort's primary attributes. The beach at this resort is a unique stretch of beautiful beachfront made from a mixture of seashells and volcanic sand. Sprinkled with small trees, the beach area stretches in wide areas along the bay, with access to kayaks, wave runners, diving and sport fishing. A steep ridge over 130 yards above sea level extends east and west through the central part of the Resort and virtually divides it equally. The northern slope of this ridge offers spectacular ocean views over the All Suite Resort, Garra de Leon Golf Course, the adjoining Flamingo Beach and the scuba diving sites at the Catalina Islands.
Costa Rica scuba diving is world class and there are daily trips to the famous Catalina Islands of Costa Rica where you may see giant Pacific manta rays, cow nose rays by the thousands and much more. The dive shop offers instruction and equipment rental.
There are privately escorted adventure tours that originate daily from the hotel for tree top canopy, river rafting, hot springs, horseback riding, volcanoes, fishing and rain forests.
Costa Rica is a tropical country situated between 8 and 11 degrees north of the equator. It has two seasons: dry and green. The dry season in Costa Rica has very little rain and generally runs from late December to April. The dry season is the best time to see the gorgeous sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. In Costa Rica the green or wet season lasts the rest of the year, May through November. During the wet season we receive rain three or four days a week in the afternoons. Since it is a tropical rain it has generally subsided by dinner. This is a wonderful time in Costa Rica as everything is green, lush and beautiful.
